You May Have Thought:

“It’s all my fault”

“Why do I always feel scared”

“I am never going to feel better”

What is Trauma?

When we are in the presence of physical or emotional danger, our nervous system becomes activated creating a fight/ flight/ freeze response to try to keep us safe.

However, once the danger has passed our brains can become “stuck” and have a difficult time processing through the experience which can create this constant state of fear. That is your trauma.

I Am Here to Help.

Therapy helps to process emotions related to the trauma so that you can let go of the past and look to the future.

Whether you experienced childhood abuse, a car accident, sexual assault, loss of a loved one, bullying, relationship issues etc it can have a lasting impact on our minds and bodies.

We can use EMDR to heal even quicker!

EMDR helps the brain become "unstuck" by activating it's natural letting go component.

EMDR can help you work through the emotions and negative beliefs quickly so you can feel better.

Once the experience is processed, the mind can let go and the body can finally relax. It feels like a relief once you find peace and calm.

As you feel better, you will notice an excitement for life becoming able to live in the moment and finding joy again.

Therapy will provide you the tools to make sure that the progress is sustained so that you can continue to live the life you want to live free of fear.
